CEO Invited to Speak on International Marketing at I DO 2004 Conference
in Brazil

PAULO and DUBLIN, 22 November, 2004 –- Xalles Limited CEO, Thomas
Nash, has been invited as a keynote speaker to the annual I DO 2004
(International Developers Opportunities) conference, held in São
Paulo, Brazil.
On
Thursday, 9 December, 2004 at 14:00, at the Mercure Grand Hotel,
Ibirapuera, São Paulo, Mr. Nash will speak to an audience of Brazilian
technology executives and officials. Attendance at the event is
expected to include the Brazilian Minister of Science and Technology,
Mr. Eduardo Campos.
Mr.
Nash, will present a speech entitled, Business Readiness for
International Expansion, focusing on what Brazilian IT firms
need to consider in preparing themselves for international expansion.
The speech will include topics of: culture and language, business
management, financial readiness, product development and packaging,
international marketing, distribution, pricing and international
business intelligence.
Individuals
wishing to expand their knowledge on international marketing can
also attend a seminar facilitated by Mr. Nash entitled, Creating
a Successful International Marketing Strategy, held at ITS
headquarters in São Paulo, on 1 December, 2004. This 3-hour seminar
will provide an overview of international markets and will teach
Brazilian firms about some important factors to consider when expanding
into new markets. Companies will be able to rate their own products’
international marketability using the Xalles’ Business Readiness
Self-Test and the seminar will include a workshop for executives
to begin plans for an international marketing campaign using Xalles’
marketing techniques and the Xalles International Marketing Strategy
Checklist.
The
I DO conference is organized by ITS and SOFTEX and is in its ninth
year of existence. There will be 3 days of events created to promote
Brazilian economic growth, particularly in the IT sector. Brazilian
firms, national and international investors and large IT users,
along with international experts, will join together to discuss
new business opportunities, with a particular focus on exporting.
Topics will focus on factors impacting the information technology
market, such as quality of software services and finance and capital
risk.
